Paul Hagenström

Paul Hagenström is a researcher at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) and a PhD candidate at Leuphana University Lüneburg. His work focuses on nature-based climate action, with a particular interest in databases and quantitative methods. 

He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Leiden University in the Netherlands, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Georg-August University in Göttingen, Germany. He has worked in climate finance at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Bonn.
