Annette Dubreuil

Annette Dubreuil has 20 years of experience dedicated to communicating and supporting sustainability and climate change research projects, including as communications director at Canada’s Ecofiscal Commission, and Coordinator of IRIS: the Institute for Research and Innovation in Sustainability at York University. She has supported a number of environmental not-for-profit organizations as a consultant.

Annette is passionate about embodied wisdom and emergence, and uses intuitive knowing to support her facilitation and teaching work, which includes teaching Focusing (including a two-year training program for Focusing Teachers), and facilitating using Open Space Technology (Forums, unconferences), Theory U/Social Presencing Theatre and other tools that support self-organizing and creativity.

Annette loves helping people who want to transform themselves to change the world—to make it more sustainable and equitable. She has a special interest in climate change, and hosts Climate Circles for holding climate emotions to enable authentic climate action. 

She has an undergraduate degree in environmental science from the University of Waterloo and a MBA in sustainability from the Schulich School of Business.
